Orenmeetsworld has quickly become one of my favourite content creators.

He makes content breaking down the formulas and success of fashion brands (and the failures of many others).

You don’t need to be into fashion, but he’s blown up and in the video below he gives a 60 second breakdown of his strategy.

TLDR:

• Don’t make content your community wants to consume, make content they want to share.

• Treat your content like a funnel (make 3 types of content, each with different goals: 1. Going viral, 2. Establishing credibility, 3. Conversion)

• Repeat concepts that have worked for you every few months. You will have a new audience by this point, and you will have evolved as a creator.

This was the motto for Facebook when it first started as a company,

And it’s the motto that is tattooed in my mind right now.

Whether it be the Web3 Jobs Discord, starting a weekly Twitter Space with Kelano, building a free collection WITH my Bricktopians Community…

I’m starting projects quickly, and doing them in a way that they are easy to begin working on and can be iteratively expanded on every single week.

The trick to doing this effectively is keeping the workload small and sticking to projects where small actions done each week compound very quickly.

Every day I see people plan BIG projects,

But by making them too big, the projects become intimidating and these people never truly start.

For me, I’ve been keeping my projects small and stacking small wins.

Small wins build confidence, confidence builds momentum, momentum builds more wins.

If you’ve been holding yourself back from starting that next project, break it down so that the first step is smaller and get started this weekend.

I’ve been on a lot of spaces this week, and something that I’ve been asked in almost every single one is:

“How do you grow your network in Web3?”

And the first time I was asked about this, it made me pause and think about my journey so far.

Whether it be building a career, or enjoying life, you don’t need to do it alone.

My favourite part of my growth journey is that at every level, I’ve reached out to people that I can see are in my zone in terms of mindset, skillset, audience size, goals, etc.

And I form groups and friendships with every single one of them.

There’s nothing better than climbing a steep mountain, and looking to your side to see that you’ve got a friend climbing there with you.

So if you love Web3, you love this journey but you’re going at it alone,

Look around for people like you and reach out to say hey 👋 

The best part, as you grow together, you get to share the moments, the stories and the successes with each other.

There’s nothing better than that.

Whilst it’s great to track the growth of this newsletter, right now I’m tunnel visioned on growing the jobs Discord as my mid-term goal.
