Write high growth content in under an hour... 💯
GM friends 👋
Hope you’ve had an awesome week. In this episode I’ll cover:
🪂 Care-Package: A thread template to help you Grow Faster
📈 Getting a newsletter sponsor: My experience so far.
🧗♂️ Building in Public: The Newsletter
Let’s get into it 💯
🪂 Care-Package:
A weekly package to help you Grow Faster 💯
🧲 Attract an audience:
A template that will help you write high growth threads in less than an hour.
Earlier this week I posted a thread that outlines how to write high growth Twitter threads with minimal time invested.
You can catch that thread here:
I’ve gained 20,000 followers in 6 months from writing 3x Twitter threads per week.
If you’re short on time and want to write Web3 threads.
You can use this hack to produce content quickly.
(And I’ve included a template to make it even faster)

🍄 Become Better:
When should you quit your job to go full time on your side hustle? This video from Alex Hormozi ($100m Entrepreneur) answers that question:
🌿 Feel f*cking fantastic:
Meditation has been the biggest productivity booster that I’ve ever experienced.
Running an NFT project is a high speed and high intensity work environment. You need to make decisions quickly, and exceed massive expectations.
The single biggest performance booster out of anything that I do is meditation.
Most people think meditation is about feeling ‘calm’ - But what it actually does is clear your mind so that you can focus.
Since meditating I’ve found massive improvements in how fast I learn, how many ideas I generate and having stronger capabilities with managing multiple workflows simultaneously.
If you’re going to try it, I recommend committing to one month to see if it’s right for you, and using the Waking Up App to guide you (this is the app I use).
📈 Getting a newsletter sponsor: My experience so far.
Let the games begin.
I’ve officially kicked off my newsletter sponsorship hunt, and here’s my experience so far.
At 2,000 subscribers, the time invested vs potential outcome isn’t a good strategic decision.
After posting on my Twitter account that I am looking for sponsors, I received 30+ DMs from people wanting to help me get a sponsor under a revenue share model.
At first, this seemed great.
20+ of those people wanted to jump on a call. So I instead gave them the assignment of finding a sponsor first and then we could get on a call.
For context, I was seeking $150 for a sponsorship in this newsletter.
Over the course of the week, I’ve had a lot of conversations with multiple people, each with different sets of needs to complete the task.
I’ve been tracking my time and so far I’ve spent an estimated 1.5 hours in conversations.
Given that these are the introductory points. It’s clear that there will still need to be more conversations, a call and then the write up to complete the sponsorship.
I’d estimate around 6 hours total.
As an ROI - That’s $25 per hour, without a guarantee that the sponsorship will be locked in.
At this current stage in the newsletter, that’s not an effective strategy.
So what are the next steps from here?
Well, it’s all about adjusting the ‘levers’ that increase the ROI
1️⃣ Find one trusted sponsorship aggregator
The biggest friction point in this is working with multiple people. If it was one person, I’d be able to execute sponsorships with less introductory time.
2️⃣ Increase the audience size
By having a larger audience, the amount of revenue that can be generated from a newsletter increases, which directly brings up the ROI.
3️⃣ Have the sponsorship posts pre-written
Ideally, the sponsor or aggregator pre-writes the sponsorship posts. This further brings down the time spent in the sponsorship process.
Right now I’ve decided to re-shift my focus to growth,
And finding that person to be my main sponsorship aggregator to reduce friction and time.
I’ll let you know how I go 💪
🧗 Started from the bottom now we’re here…
If you’re new here, one of the core principles of the content I share is that a newsletter is the most linear and simple business you can start in Web3. It has high sponsorship revenue and can go from being a side hustle to a full-time business in under a year. I am building this newsletter in public, to share the progress each week so that you can be a part of the journey. Now let’s get into it 👇
This Week:
Subscribers: 2,246 (+65 Subscribers)
Open Rate: 42.4%
Tracking my goals:
🚂 Get my first sponsorship: My first sponsorship is locked in. Now ironing out the details.
🚂 2,246 / 3,000 Subscribers: The climb continues.
🧗♂️ [Stretch goal] Pay my rent with the newsletter: I’m scrapping this goal ❌
At this level of growth, the ROI of negotiation vs revenue doesn’t make sense as a high effort pursuit. I’ll revisit this at a higher stage of growth.
The grind continues. On to the next week 🫡
