🔓️ How to get your dream job in Web3

🧗♂️ Building in Public: The Newsletter
This week we’re focussing on how to start a career in Web3.
(If you want to dive straight into the career content, skip the care package section)
Let’s get into it 💯
🪂 Care-Package:
A weekly package to help you Grow Faster 💯
🧲 Attract an audience:
Personalise your content to get better engagement (using Photoshop AI / other tools)
Right now we’re at a weird place in Web3 Twitter.
It feels like everyone is posting the same content, the same threads and the same memes over and over again.
What we’re missing is a sense of personalisation and authenticity.
Something I’ve been experimenting with recently has been personalising my content (by using Photoshop AI).
For example, here’s two separate thread thumbnails that I posted one week apart.
These edits + releasing more videos with my face are how I plan to stand out in the coming weeks and months.
(I’m already noticing a boost in my engagement)
If you’re creating content, find a way to stand out and build a deeper relationship with your audience.
🍄 Become Better:
Google AI is better than ChatGPT for (most) search related queries
If you haven’t tried Google Bard yet, you need to add it to your workflow.
Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve been testing and comparing Google Bard vs ChatGPT w/ Browsing. Google consistently came out ahead with more usable answers and information.
To get started, I recommend using it for any searches that you would already conduct with google, that require multiple steps.
🌿 Feel f*cking fantastic:
How I’m recharging my brain: 30 minute digital timeouts
I find that with intense work, it’s easy for my brain to feel fried.
I often try to take a digital break to recharge, but I’ll usually get pinged by a notification and jump back into work.
My New Strategy:
When I feel in need of a recharge, I put my phone on airplane mode, set a 30 minute timer and put it in another room.
Usually in this time I’ll make a tea, do laundry or go for a lap of the block.
Once the timer goes off, I feel 10x better and am ready for my next innings of work.
It feels good to sprint, but output comes from being able to go at a fast pace over an extended period of time.
Taking 30 mins to recharge can be the reason why you’re able to work an extra 4 hours productively.
📈 There are more jobs in Web3 than you think. Azuki is hiring right now for between $75,000 - $250,000.
Earlier today, I shared a thread breaking down all the jobs that Azuki has available right now (and they’re all paying A LOT).
You can catch that thread here:
$250,000 per year to work at Azuki.
That’s one of many Web3 jobs available right now.
If you want to work full time in Web3, these are the 5 jobs at Azuki that you may be qualified for.

🧑🎨 Artist: $75,000 - $180,000
You can check out the entire list of roles available at the button below:
🔓️ How to get the job: Going through the ‘side door’
If you’re going for the Web3 jobs above (or any job in a competitive market), I also broke down a step-by-step guide on how to get your dream job by doing what others aren’t.
Bookmark this thread and save it for when you need it next.
Good luck 🍀
Web3 has some of the highest paying jobs, even in this current market ($150,000+).
But if you want a job at your favourite NFT project, you won’t get it by going through the front door.
You need to do what everyone else ISN’T doing.

🧙♂️ Diary of a Founder: How to manage burnout as a content creator
I’ve had a lot of friends message me recently that they’re burnt out and slowing down their content creation.
I’ve been there too, many times.
Creating content is a marathon, not a sprint, and the middle of a marathon f*cking sucks.
(Even at 32k followers on Twitter and occasional viral threads, it feels like a grind and I often catch myself feeling unable to overcome plateaus in my journey. I’ve felt this from 2k all the way to 32k, and at all the walls in between).
So how do I deal with burnout, the two biggest things that keep me going are:
I make sure that I’m creating content that I enjoy making. Right now I’m enjoying learning about AI and opportunities for people in Web3. I’d make this content even if it wasn’t performing well because I find it interesting.
If I’m going through a period of low engagement, I switch my focus to ‘rewarding’ myself mentally for how consistent I am, rather than the results I get. (E.g. Goal this week: Post 3 threads. If I do that, I’m happy).

I am building this newsletter in public, to share the progress each week so that you can be a part of the journey. Now let’s get into it 👇
This Week:
Subscribers: 2,410 (+38)
Open Rate: 45.3%
Tracking my goals:
✅ Get my first sponsorship: (Complete)
🚂 2,410 / 3,000 Subscribers: I’m gaining momentum with my threads again. Happy with the growth this week.
✅ Create a new internal template: (Complete) - I’m also experimenting with photoshop AI which I’m having a lot of fun with.
Great momentum this week. Onto another awesome week 💯
