Two weeks ago I felt like quitting content.
I had always heard people say:
"Be careful building on one platform, if they change the algorithm you can be f*cked overnight."
I always thought "yeah yeah, that's not going to happen to me though."
Those people were right.

🍄 Become Better:
Everyone is leaving Web3, here’s how you use it to make money.
Over the past week there has been a mass exodus of NFT content creators on Twitter (𝕏)
On the surface level, this looks bearish AF.
But that’s only what you see in public.
Behind closed doors…
In private conversations…
VC backed companies, leading content creators & major Web2 brands that are building in this space are all saying the same thing…
There’s WAY MORE funded companies that need content creators, consultants & advisors, than there are active content creators & experts in Web3.
If you think about it, this makes a lot of sense.
Last year we saw companies raise $5 million, $50 million and in the case of Animoca, $500 million.
Do you think that because Twitter looks bearish those companies decided:
“Well… I guess this is over. Pack it up team 🤷♂️”
F*ck no.
They’ve been building, growing and have now started releasing their products.
Every day that a content creator or Web3 expert leaves the space,
The supply of opportunities per person increases.
If you’re reading this and on the fence about whether or not to leave Web3,
All I can tell you is this.
If you grind now (and it is a grind, it’s hard, not fun at times, but it’s worth it)
You will get the opportunities that others miss out on.
The opportunities are out there right now. Go out and take them.
🌿 Feel f*cking fantastic:
Get access to the daily routines of Billionaires & CEOs
I recently came across this awesome website called routines.club.
It breaks down the daily routines of CEOs, Billionaires, Content Creators and more so that you can find tweaks that improve your life.
Highly recommend checking it out.
🐦️ I wanted to know if I tweeted more, would I get more engagement, So I tweeted 70x this week. Here's what happened.
Threads are dead.
And as I mentioned in the “I felt like quitting” post,
It gave me a bit of an existential crisis.
“If threads are dead, then what do I do on Twitter?”
For a while there, I felt a bit lost.
Is it still possible for me to make an impact on this platform? Am I going to have to switch to TikTok or YouTube.
I knew I had to adapt.
So I went the volume route. Last week I posted 40 tweets. This week I’m on track to post 70.
And here’s what I’ve noticed so far.
As of writing this, I am currently #69 on NFTinspect. This is higher than last week (rank 100), but nowhere near as high as when I was writing threads consistently during the old algorithm.
I’m replying more externally this week than I was last week, this likely has caused most of my rise, not the volume of individual posts.
There is diminishing returns with volume. Per tweet my engagement is lower than it was when I was posting 40x per week (which is still ridiculously high volume).
The only benefit, I’ve gotten a lot of DMs from people saying they’re seeing me “everywhere” at the moment. This is 100% because they’re my engaged audience, so the algorithm is hitting them with several posts.
So should you tweet 70x per week?
F*ck no.
And I’m glad that my experiment has shown that this isn’t super beneficial because it takes a lot of time and mental energy to hit that volume.
If you want to get high engagement on Twitter and be an active citizen in Web3, the playbook is simple (and the way it always has been):
Tweet 2-4 times per day
Reply to as many people as possible
Good luck friends.
