🍄 Become Better:
Your DMs suck. Here’s how you get responses (using the CCC Method).
I get a tonne of DMs, especially since I’ve started posting job opportunities.
Not all DMs are created equal.
If you want to get replies, results and conversions for your business, you need to use this method.
CCC stands for Compliment, Case Study/Context, Call to Action
You want to keep each to one line.
For example:
Hey Alex,
I loved your thread on how to get an entry level job.
I’ve paid 3x creators to write a sponsored thread for our upcoming Metaverse platform release.
I’d love to have a call for 15 minutes to discuss a sponsorship opportunity.
Notice how it’s clear, clean, concise and effective.
It engages me with a complement. Doesn’t have big blocks of text.
And it creates proof with a case study/context before making an ask.
🌿 Feel f*cking fantastic:
Staying Consistent - Reduce the load instead of missing a day
A big issue I used to have was being very ‘all or nothing’
If I didn’t have time to get a full gym workout in, I wouldn’t do it at all.
But recently I’ve switched to a method that I learnt from James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits.
The core concept is, if you can’t hit your goal target (exercising, number of posts, etc)
Force yourself to do the minimum amount of that habit possible.
For example, if you can’t do a full gym workout, do 10 pushups, 10 squats and a set of sit-ups.
The goal isn’t to make progress, the goal is to maintain the habit.
👨🍳 I’m cooking up something for those of you who want a job in Web3.
As mentioned last week, I’m cooking up something for everyone who is trying to get a job in Web3.
It’s almost ready and I’ll be sharing it with everyone who has joined at this link:
In the meantime, for those of you who can’t wait, make sure you check out these jobs from NFT Now & Cool Cats.
There are more jobs in Web3 than you think.
NFTnow is hiring for these 6 positions right now

❌ If you’re creating content on Twitter, avoid these mistakes.
❌ Putting links in your content
𝕏 doesn't want your readers on other platforms. The moment you add a link to your thread it's game over.
Pro-tip: I've been getting around this by putting links in images if it's needed to create the intended value for the reader.
Example:
❌ Using the word Threads
If you ever put phrases like:
"If you enjoyed this thread, make sure to RT"
𝕏 doesn't want you mentioning competitor platforms.
This is holding your content back.
❌ Putting something boring in your second tweet.
𝕏 is heavily prioritising click through rate (how much of your thread someone reads)
If your second tweet is boring (e.g. asking for engagement) and people click off, your content will be deboosted.
❌ Linking to your first tweet at the end of a thread.
For example (Don’t do this):
Thanks for reading ❤️
If someone you know wants to work in Web3, make sure to retweet.

I've had content blow up,
And then the moment I add a tweet to link back to the start of the post, the views stop immediately.
This part is unconfirmed but it's something I've experienced consistently.
❌ Tagging too many accounts
If you do this your content can get marked as spammy and gets deboosted in the algorithm.
*️⃣ Final quick note
If you're noticing your threads aren't performing as well,
Don't worry, it's not your content. Everyone is experiencing this.
The algorithm is currently in a state of change and threads currently either go viral or get no exposure.
Keep writing, keep improving and keep growing.
🧗 Started from the bottom now we’re here…
If you’re new here, one of the core principles of the content I share is that a newsletter is the most linear and simple business you can start in Web3. It has high sponsorship revenue and can go from being a side hustle to a full-time business in under a year. I am building this newsletter in public, to share the progress each week so that you can be a part of the journey. Now let’s get into it 👇
The accelerated growth continues 💪
This Week:
Subscribers: 3,162 (+87 Subscribers)
Open Rate: 43.3%
Tracking my NEW goals:
🚂 Improve the graphic design of this newsletter: If you’re a designer with ideas for this newsletter, I’d love to talk. Reply to this email with your thoughts.
🚂 3,162 / 4,000 Subscribers: Already over 10% since adding this goal.
🚂 Update the welcome email for new subscribers: The direction of this newsletter has shifted heaps since I started it. It’s time for a refresh update for our new friends.
Have a great weekend 💯
