Predictable NFT Investments, Monetizing your newsletter & Getting more sh*t done:
GM š
This week weāre jumping off the top rope with a banger.
Letās start with investing.
š£ Are āhatchableā NFTs the key to predictable NFT profits?
The past 12 months for NFTs have been a rollercoaster, and almost impossible to predict.
And yet in a sea of chaos, there has been one type of NFT that has consistently performed well, against changes in the market.
Letās start with the chart. Can you guess the project?
This is the final 6 months of 2022, for the project The Potatoz by Memeland.
A project that instead of doing one BIG reveal, chose to do an extended reveal which led to consistent growth in the middle of a bear market.
So what is a hatchable NFT, and how do you trade it to your advantage?
I wrote a thread thatās got you covered so that you can spot these patterns before they arise:
The 'hatching' meta can be the most predictable way to make profitable NFT investments.
But only under one specific condition.

š Questions from last week: Monetizing a Web3 newsletter
Last week, I shared a detailed overview of how to start a Web3 newsletter business, and how much revenue it can generate in its first year.
For those that missed it, hereās the recap of the revenue that a daily Web3 newsletter can generate:
At 1,000 subscribers = $250 - $500 per week
At 2,000 subscribers = $500 - $1,000 per week
At 5,000 subscribers = $1,250 - $2,500 per week
At 10,000 subscribers = $2,500 - $5,000 per week
At 20,000 subscribers = $5,000 - $10,000 per week
But I had a lot of questions asking how a newsletter actually makes money. Especially newsletters like the one that you are reading right now which is free.
The answer is simple:
Sponsors.
Newsletters have some of the highest returns out of any content category, with most paying $30 per 1,000 readers. In the Crypto / Web3 / Financial niches, these numbers get MUCH higher (as high as $100 per 1,000 readers).
These figures can be amplified by other variables such as sponsor exclusivity and high click through rates from your emails.
You get sponsors by either promoting your subscriber figures publicly, or reaching out to Web3 companies and offering sponsored articles within your posts.
So how do you actually build a newsletter business?
Well Iām at the beginning of my journey, and Iām going to share every aspect of it with you so that we can build this in public together.
At the bottom of this article, I will share the peek into how Iām building it š
š Getting more done
As a founder, I am constantly seeking opportunities to get more done in less time, and build habits that benefit my productivity.
Earlier this week I found this podcast episode that has already made a major impact on how I work.
In this episode of the Tim Ferris show, Tim interviews James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits.

But if you donāt have time, these were my key takeaways:
If you want to create a new habit, make it easier. (For me, I wanted to film more videos for Twitter. So now I always have my camera set up on a tripod ready to go, so that if I have an idea I can sit down and hit record).
If you want to stop a bad habit, make it harder to do. (My guilty pleasure is listening to podcast clips on YouTube, but I find this gets in the way of ādevice-free timeā that I want on walks. So I deleted the app. Now that habit has stopped.)
Commit to the schedule, but give yourself the flexibility to reduce the āamountā when needed. (I needed to exercise today, but I didnāt have time for a full workout. So instead I did multiple sets of pushups and bodyweight exercises at home, to keep the momentum and prevent myself from losing an entire day.)
š This Newsletter: Building in Public
The entire point of this newsletter is to level up Web3 entrepreneurs.
But I feel that just telling you what to do is a bit boring. So instead Iām going to build this newsletter in public.
Sharing the numbers, the growth, whatās working and whatās not working.
That way if you want to join me by starting a journey of your own, you can use these lessons to accelerate yours.
So to start with, we need a baseline. Where are we at?
Right now we have:
1,595 Subscribers
49.3% Open Rate
Okay so whatās next.
Well, my near-term goals are šÆ
Get the newsletter written earlier in the week to increase the open rate (Thursday would be optimal)
Get to 2,000 subscribers
Expand the content categories within this newsletter.
š Donāt be a stranger, say hey
This isnāt a newsletter, itās an accelerator. And Iām here to help you. Whether youāre an early stage entrepreneur, an NFT collector or just someone that loves Web3, my DMs are always open.
You can reach me by replying to this email, or for a faster response send me a DM here on Twitter.
Together, we will Grow Faster.
