I see a lot of people who are just starting out in their content journey,
Spending WAAAAY too much time overthinking.
A lot of people I speak to try to get better by spending a long time (like a week) on one piece of content.
But the reality is, you get better through repetition.
If you want to know how I did it,
I literally captured my journey in one single thread (below).
I wrote 100 threads, in 100 days, and if you check out the links in the post, you will see that I suuuuucked.
My content was too long, I used #hashtags and I didn’t capture topics that anyone cared about.
But I pushed myself to get a piece of content out every day, even if it wasn’t perfect, and to improve one small thing each time.
Over 100+ threads later, I’m now at 40k followers and I feel more confident about creating content than I ever would have if I spent all my time reading guides and overthinking.
Hey, I’m Alex 👋
I’ve been in blockchain for 7 years, ETH since $45 and am building on my NFT project #Bricktopians every single day.
I want you to win in Web3, and I’m writing 100 threads in 100 days to help you get there.
You can catch all my threads below.

If you’re reading this, this is your sign to commit to the inputs not the outcomes (e.g. 100 threads), and give yourself permission to suck at the beginning.
You’ve got this.
🍄 Become Better:
💪 The simple way to make people think you’re better than you are
This is such a simple (but hard) lesson that I’ve had to learn over the past 2 months as a service provider.
People don’t just care about when you deliver the work. They care about knowing exactly when to expect it.
For example,
If you’re a content creator, and on Monday you’ve been given a brief to create a piece of content by Thursday,
Yes, technically if you deliver the content on Thursday, you have delivered the service on time.
But what you don’t see is what the person hiring you is thinking.
They wake up each day on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday asking themselves…
“Is this person going to post? 🤔”
They may even take extra time to follow you up personally.
Whereas…
If on Monday you receive the brief and you say “Hey Team, I’ll be getting this live on Wednesday”
And then on Wednesday you say “Hey Team, I’ve written the draft, I’ll be posting this afternoon.”
By just doing that, you immediately stand out as valuable compared to everyone else (which makes the person want to hire you again and give you even bigger opportunities)
Literally no one does this… and it’s so simple.
I love this video which captures this idea perfectly:
🌿 Feel f*cking fantastic:
⏳️ Contemplate the price of inaction
It feels easy to just not do something that we know we need to do.
And it feels like it doesn’t cost us anything.
But the reality is, it costs us our time AND our attention (when we’re constantly thinking about that one thing we need to do but aren’t doing)
This video by Chris Williamson captures this core idea
Have an awesome weekend friends ☀️
