🏞️ How I unlock flow states on command

I’m helping more Web3 content creators get paid and I need YOU 🫵

I’ve been exclusively working with content creators who get above 1,000 impressions, helping them get paid work in Web3.

I’m about to open that up to people who get 500 impressions+

If you’re a creator wanting to get paid, make sure to fill out this form: https://forms.gle/ggfq3feouhJ3hXtF7

🧲 Attract an audience:

🤳 In 2024, followers don’t matter as much as impressions

For most of us on 𝕏, we can treat that follower number a bit like our social self worth.

But the truth is, right now, it doesn’t matter as much as you think.

I pay close attention to the performance of content creators,

And what I’m noticing more and more is that there are A LOT of people with near 20,000 followers who get less than 500 impressions per post.

And there are A LOT of people with 5,000 followers who get 1,000+ impressions per post.

Impressions are the key metric.

Impressions tells you how many people care about what YOU have to say, and how far 𝕏 is willing to push your message.

If you’re a content creator wanting to get paid, or you just want to feel good about the content you’re creating, focus on impressions. This is what makes you valuable.

My 2-min guide to boosting impressions:

➣ Post a minimum of once per day (twice is ideal)
➣ Reply to at least 30 people per day (yes, that’s all it takes)
➣ Speak on spaces at least once per week (once per day is optimal)

I’ve given this guide to many creators and it’s worked every time. The reason it works is because it gets you real followers, who consistently engage with you and look forward to your content, because they like you for you.

If you do this for 1 — 2 months, you’ll find that the impact snowballs into something BIG.

My two favourite sources of business learnings in the one podcast…

Alex Hormozi 🤝 My First Million

This is an awesome podcast episode that breaks down:

✅ How to create a sales pitch that makes you more money

✅ The mindset of when to focus, and when to explore new ideas

Alex Hormozi has single handedly given me the learnings to triple my revenue over the past 3 months, and if there’s anyone that I’d suggest you listen to, it’s him.

I smashed it out as soon as it dropped and it’s perfect for your next car ride or commute:

🏞️ How I unlock flow states on command

This is a small hack that I use every day.

When I get into a flow state, I’m a killer.

I can get an entire day of work done in 2 hours.

The challenge is, you can’t really decide to get into a flow state.

Or at least that’s what I used to think…

It turns out that there are triggers that get you into flow.

And the most consistent one that I’ve found is environment change.

How this works:

1️⃣ Simple mode — Every 2 hours, change your environment.

Let’s say you’re working from home. To start the day, you might work at your kitchen table. But after 2 hours of work, your brain starts to feel foggy and you are concentrating a lot less.

The cure for this is to unplug for 15 minutes (go for a walk ideally), and then start work again at a new position in the house. This time it may be on the couch, at a different table, or even at a different seating position on the same table.

My routine when working from home will usually be:

  1. Table #1

  2. Go to a cafe

  3. Table #2

  4. Improvise from there

2️⃣ Then we get into advanced mode:

One step even further than this is to have different environments for specific work.

When I was living in Melbourne, I had this one cafe that was my newsletter cafe.

I knew if I went to that cafe, my brain would switch into newsletter mode and I’d smash it out in less than an hour.

You don’t need to be as specific as ‘this is my newsletter cafe’ — but the trick here is to have some environments for deep work (newsletter, content, strategy),

And separate environments for active work (replies, notifications, speaking to clients)

If you keep an environment completely sacred for deep work, you’ll find that every time you go to this one location, you’re able to get an instant flow state and smash through a day of work in a couple hours.

Out of every productivity hack I use, this is by far the most powerful.

Try it for yourself and let me know how you go.

Have an awesome weekend friends ☀️
